Helen Yeo, Ph.D., is currently a Global Project Manager at Roche Palo Alto, one of the world’s leader in the fields of pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. She has over 12 years experience in pharmaceutical research and development. Until November 2007, she was a Project Lead in the pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism department at Roche. She obtained her Ph.D. in Agricultural and Environmental Toxicology from UC Davis with Prof. Takayuki Shibamoto and carried out her postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley, working with Prof. Bruce Ames, inventor of the classic “Ames Assay”. She has served on the board of the Bay Analytical Chemists Network (the predecessor of CACO) since 2003.
